photoattorney.com just posted about a possible threat to copyright protected images being misused by Microsoft to promote their contest Iconic Britain. According to the website pro-imaging.org, Nikon was the main sponsor and has withdrawn due to negative feedback from photographers.
I did some searches last night and found over 30 placements of my images on their pages. Here is one of many screen shots I took before they closed the site today. I shot the 2 building images.

Occasionally I like to go fishing online by doing a Google search of my business name. I recently hooked this complimentary page.

Well I was one of those “crazy people” in line on July 11 to buy a shiny new 16GB iPhone. My Sprint monthly billing cycle was ending on the 12th, so I had an excuse! A friend of mine who was about #40-45 in line saved me a spot at about 5AM. I showed up around 5:40. I would have been earlier, but I realized 1/2 way there that I forgot my wallet. I won’t bore you with details of activation woes that plagued the Mac faithful that day, but I left at 11AM without it being activated. I got it going that afternoon and today I got the MobileMe software update alert. Now I’m synced up with my Mac Pro and all is good. This afternoon I visited a potential client and gave an impromptu showing with some of my photos on the nice 3.5″ widescreen. It’s a great marketing tool, even if it’s not the best reproduction. This product is so much more than just a cell phone.
